An Ayurvedic Approach to Chakra Healing

The recent advances made in Kirlian photography by the like of Dr. Konstantin Korotkov provide a huge sigh of relief for the modernist approach to Chakra healing in Nepal. This means you can quantify the Chakras and their actions based on the energy fields they create around the body. The machine developed by Dr. Korotkov called the Gas Discharge Visualizer (GDV) provides an offshore way of measuring the internal excellence and fine-tuning the body energetics to the intensity one desires.

Machines like GDV open up a whole new world on chakra meditation and chakra healing. Some people might feel like they are not living their lives up to their full potential, the underlying pathology may not only be incorporated in the impeding consciousness but also may be traced to the body’s energy system (the Chakras). Using this as guiding tenets one may incorporate lifestyle (Ayurvedic) or yogic practices into their holistic healing of Chakras. The potential is endless. The Chakra represents that potential – a sort of energy locked up inside the body – that can then be capitalized into something positive. In all the Chakra represent an intensity in which one lives his life.

Muladhara (Root) Chakra healing

The basal chakra subdues the bearer in its activated state. It promotes lowly living – guiding one towards the fulfillment of just their basic physiological needs. However, it also acts as a sort of gatekeeper for the energy to flow from the ground into the higher consciousness. So, training it is the first step in yogic practice.

Swadhisthan (Sacral) Chakra

Sacral chakra intensifies life. In its activated state, it makes life more thrilling, more sensual and a tendency for creative experiences.

Manipura (Navel) Chakra healing

The intensity of vibration of Manipura lies above Swadisthana and Muladhara. In its activated state, it makes person intuitive, drives the activator towards living a more reasonable life – where one is able to decide what is good or bad for the self, depending on life situations.

Anahata (Heart) Chakra healing

The heart chakra is a chakra in between the physical and spiritual realm. The heart chakra is the “Star” that connects the bottom bodily Chakra (Root, Sacral, Navel) with the upper spiritual Chakra (Throat, Third eye, and crown). Anahata Chakra upon activation makes a person compassionate and loving.

Vishuddha (Throat) Chakra healing

The throat chakra is the first of spiritual Chakra. It is involved in the power of convincing, upon the voice of affirmation, of authority. We frequently see people gaining confidence with age, developing self- esteem; this can be related to the throat Chakra activation.

Ajna (Third eye) Chakra healing

The Ajna equates to intelligence. Upon activation, the third eye (the eye of the mind) makes the person more intelligence, more elaborated on workings of the universe.
