Ayurveda For Gastritis Treatment

Ayurveda for gastritis is a term that refers to inflammation in the belly. If we learned more about it, we would realize that the abdomen is a muscular organ with an interior mucosal coating. This lining is constantly in contact with the acidic and basic chemicals found in our stomach. On rare occasions, this acid-base balance may be disrupted, resulting in an imbalanced pH evel. The environment of the human stomach has a chemical balance that is required to perform digestive activities. The optimal level of enzymes must be maintained for the catalyst to function properly.

According to ancient science, gastric illnesses in ayurveda are a collection of stomach disorders, out of which gastritis is known as amlapitta roga. Pitta dosha is the most responsible of the three doshas in ayurveda for gastric roga.

Stomach inflammation is caused by an increase in pitta dosha in the stomach causing

  • Mucosal layer ulceration
  • Microbial development
  • Constipation
  • Stool containing blood
  • Hyperacidity
  • Belching Causes Heartburn
  • Nausea or vomiting

Depending on the aggravated dosha, these symptoms may appear separately or all at once. There are more than one explanation and outcomes of stomach bugs. Though Ayurveda for gastritis are co related to manas and sharirik doshes. These doshas are commonly associated with pain and discomfort. When these symptoms occur frequently, they can lead to significant stomach infections such as:-

  • ulcerative colitis
  • peptic ulcers,
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome,
  • lactose intolerance,
  • malabsorption, and so on.

Gastritis can occur for a variety of reasons out of them few would be:-

  • Food that is spicy and unsanitary

Colors, preservatives, and acidic chemicals are common additives in foods.

Regular use of moderate pharmaceuticals, such as syrups for hyperacidity or constipation, pain relievers, and other medications, disrupts gut flora and raises receptivity sensors. They also interfere with the body’s natural mechanisms and digestion.

Consumption of the aforementioned reasons causes:-

  1. ulceration in the mouth,

The human body contains Agni/energy, which ensures that the body’s normal mechanisms are not disrupted. Ayurveda for gastritis has a complete check loss and frameworks to figure out the level of Agni disturbance . This Agni allows coordination between sense organs, the processing of physical activities in daily life, and the main oaj of the body. It ensures an increase in Satva Guna and a decrease in Raja and Tama dosha.

Aside from them, there is a a particular Jataragni that is ignited by samaan vayu and carries out the metabolic process of digestion. Along with paachak pitta facilitates the process of converting complicated components into simpler molecular forms that can be easily absorbed.

Paachak pitta’s importance

Pitta, according to different acharya, is the Agni itself since having ushna potency. Paachak Agni is thought to be the most powerful Agni because it regulates the rest of the Agni. If there is a malformation in Paachak Agni, the other agnis are affected. Low Agni levels cause food indigestion, which causes a variety of additional problems.

Ayurveda for gastritis has the base to figure out the core of the issue and then have a cure for it.

Panchkarma treatment for gastritis. Ayurveda offers a panchakarma practice that cleanses the pitta, kapha, and aam doshas from their roots.

Ghritpaan

The ahaar (food regime) mentioned above assists the gut in tolerating other processes. Because of this, drugs such as pippli, pillimool, shunthi, black pepper, hing and bhilawa have been advised in Ayurveda for gastritis. A pinch of these finely grinded above given medicinal substances with ghee must be ingested 2 to 3 times each day.

Niroohbasti

The ghritpaan ignites Agni of the stomach in gastritis disease, however in some severe cases, excretory contents must be withdrawn. Look for any obstructions in the defecation/urination process. In Ayurveda for gastritis to lessen vaat levels, snehana, swedana, and basti of dashmoola tailam or jatayadi tailam are prescribed.

Virechan Karma

After the basti karma, when the body is free of excretory waste and apaan vaayu has helped to cleanse the colon. Castor oil tilvalghrit is given to drink with kshara (alkaline in nature components) such as shankha or pravala. As a lekhana karma in the Ayurveda for gastritis, the drink acts as a laxative (Virechana) and aids in the expulsion of dosha ( scrapping effect).

The moisture of the stomach has been pulled off after the virechan karma, and anuvaasan basti (enema with oil/ghee/glycerine) is used to restore the moisture. This basti must be cooked with amladravya, deepan karak, and vaatnashak ( enema). This restores the normal moisture and pH balance of the gut wall.

The pitta and vaayu doshas, as well as the aam dosha, are reduced by following the techniques outlined above. The restoration of dosha balance increases life expectancy and aids in the cure of illnesses.
