Schedule of seven days hike:

Day 1st of “yoga hike in Nepal”: The day of arrival. This is the day to be familiar to the environment of Nepal Ayurveda Home. On the first day, you will strike up the yoga and meditation retreat along with 360-degree rooftop views from the top of the building. You can wallow in some snowy Himalayans and the high-green encircling mountain around the Kathmandu Valley. Entire view of Kathmandu including temples and old palaces can be observed from the top and the windows of rooms.

Second day -Namo Buddha Hike

Namo Buddha is situated at the southeast mountain, 41 km from Nepal Ayurveda Home. There is a very old Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery which is one of the most significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal and one of the chastest in the world. It is believed as the location where Gautama Buddha, in one of the preceding lives as a prince, donated his body to a hunger strike tigress and her cubs.

Third day –Suryachaur Hike

Suryachaur is 17.5 km far from Nepal Ayurveda Home in the north. Hiking to Suryachour renders a chance to observe Nepalese agrestic life as well as the superb mountain views being too near and climbing high Hills. These hills are mantled by terraced farms and pretty forests. Fourth day- Sivapuri national park

It is 11.5 km northeast from Nepal Ayurveda Home. At 2732m, Shivapuri ) is the second highest place on the valley brim. It lies within the forested Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, structured to preserve the valley’s water supply.  Nagi Gompa, a previous Tamang monastery donated to the popular Lama Urgyen Rinpoche, and now acquired by nuns – along with the occasional Western dharma disciple sent up from Boudha. It’s a lepid walk of an hour or so, climbing and approaching eastward through the forest.

Fifth day- Pharping

It is is a small town about 20 km south from Nepal Ayurveda Home. Guru Rinpoche is said to have attained enlightenment in Pharping, and so is one of the most consecrate sites allied with the great stoic. The two sacred caves on the mountainside and many Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and retreat centers (mostly Nyingma) in and around the town are found here.

It is inscribed that when Guru Rinpoche commence the execution of Yangdak Heruka with the consort Shakyadevi, daughter of a king of Nepal, at Pharping, sledgehammer souls caused a three years drought, with famine and disease throughout the area. To protest these powers, Guru Rinpoche supplicated his teachers in India to send teachings. It is believed that the very moment the messengers arrived Phaping with various tantric texts, the problems were immediately propitiated and the famine and disease ceased.

Sixth day – Nagarkot

 It is about 28 km east from Nepal Ayurveda Home. Nagarkot is at the height of 2,195 meters and regarded as one of the most scenic areas in Bhaktapur. It is famous for a sunrise view of the Himalayas along with Mt. Everest and other pinnacles of the Himalayan Range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot also allows a panoramic sight of the Kathmandu Valley. The beautiful lustre of the area makes it a wonderful hiking route for tourists.

 It is situated about 7000 ft (2000 m) above sea level. Nagarkot is popular for one of the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley (out of 13 Himalayan ranges of Nepal, 8 ranges are from here). The ranges include Ganesh Himal, Mahalangur range (Everest range) Annapurna range, Langtang range, Manaslu range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, and Number of  range with views of the Kathmandu Valley and Shivapuri National Park.

Seventh-day

This is the concluding day. You will be taught the summery of yoga so that you can recall your learning. This is also a celebration and feedback day.
